Richey Edwards’ Sister to run in his memory

Rachael Elias, sister of glam icon Richey James Edwards has run the ‘Miles for Missing People’ fundraiser in support of missing people.

The run, which took place in Hyde Park in London on the 13th March, has already raised £20,000 for the charity and was also backed by Kate and Gerry McCann.

Ms Elias said:

“I am running it for my brother and to support this charity.

“They have been a tremendous source of strength over the last 15 years.

“He was legally declared dead in November 2008, but there is no certainty over the loss, there is that hope.

“Until he is found alive or dead we will always have hope.”

Richey went missing on February 1st 1995 and has not been seen since.
