Jugganote
Jugganote are a five piece outfit from Cardiff who are currently promoting new EP “Good Men Stand Together”.
After forming in 2007 the band have blazed a trail around the UK, bringing their brand of hip-hop and rock fusion to each crowd they play to.
Released in October 2009, “Good Men Stand Together” harks back to the turn of the Millennium, the era of Nu-Metal ,where every band worth its salt featured dirty metal guitars, relentless break beats, sophisticated scratching and vocalists spitting lyrics faster than an uzi gun.
Jugganote have taken the genre and breathed new life into it, the sound is like a mixture of elements of the likes of Korn, Limp Bizkit, Soil and early Slipknot mixed with the soul of Rage Against the Machine and a hint of House of Pain . Like rapcore guerrillas the band encompass the very attitude of the first wave of Nu-Metal with a fresher more endearing sound. This band is certainly one to watch!
